Beny Lee

​Beny Lee joined Maxim Group in 2012 as part of the Internal Controls team working in conjunction with the Compliance and Operations departments. In 2014, Mr. Lee moved on to serve as the Head of Internal Controls overseeing the development, implementation, and audit functions of all Firm policies and procedures. He later transitioned to his current role as the Chief Risk Officer in 2019. Mr. Lee started his securities industry career in 2007 as a former proprietary equity trader at Opus Trading Fund, a hedge fund subsidiary of Schonfeld Group. Mr. Lee holds a BA degree from Baruch College.
