Mr. Teller has spent 30 years in investment banking servicing and financing emerging growth, middle market and large cap companies in a variety of industries including healthcare, shipping, industrials and TMT. Mr. Teller is a founder and heads Maxim’s investment banking group which has maintained a leading position in small cap investment banking focusing on public and private financings and advisory services for its clients for the last 20 years. Mr. Teller also serves as CEO of M Vest LLC, a platform built to redefine investment banking by providing investors online access to capital raising, webinars, virtual conferences, and corporate presentations. Prior to joining Maxim Group, Mr. Teller was a founder of Momentum Media Capital, a Partner at BlueStone Capital Partners, LP, and managed a leveraged portfolio in excess of $2 billion at Mitsubishi Banking Corporation. He was formally trained at Chase Banking Corporation completing its management training program in 2003. He received his MBA in Finance from Fordham University, and holds a BA in Accounting and Business Administration from the State University of New York at Albany.

Mr. Glassberg has over 18 years of investment banking and financial services experience, having spent the past 16 years with Maxim Group LLC. Mr. Glassberg has completed a vast array of transactions across different product types including IPOs, Follow-Ons, Registered Directs, CMPOs, PIPEs, Privates, Fixed Income, SPACs, Reverse Mergers, M&A and Fairness Opinions mandates. His transactional experience spans a broad range of industries having raised in excess of $7.0 billion, of which, over $3.5 billion was raised in a book runner and/or lead placement agent position. Additionally, Mr. Glassberg has also been involved in approximately $5.0 billion in M&A assignments for both private and public companies. His prior transactions have been within the following sectors: Energy, Industrials, Infrastructure, Maritime Shipping, TMT, REITs, Hospitality, Internet Services, Financial Services, Business and Consumer Products and Services. Mr. Glassberg began his career at Trifecta LLC, a private equity and strategic advisory firm focused on the media and entertainment industries. Mr. Glassberg received his BBA as well as his MTA from the accelerated five-year masters program at The George Washington University School of Business and Public Management.

Mr. Veera has over 14 years of investment banking and financial services experience. His clients span a broad range of industries including Healthcare, Technology, Industrials, Esports & Gaming, Energy, Consumer, REITs & financial services. Prior to joining Maxim, Mr. Veera was a Vice President at Provident group, a mid-market Investment bank serving emerging growth sectors. Prior to that, he was a VP at Rodman &Renshaw, where he spearheaded the India initiative and was instrumental in originating and closing several deals across sectors. In his tenure, he has managed over $5 billion in corporate finance transaction. He holds an MBA from the Baruch College and holds a BBA from Mumbai University.

Mr. Shaw has over 21 years of investment banking and securities industry experience. Mr. Shaw is an accomplished investment banker and entrepreneur who has advised and raised public and private capital for acquisition vehicles and growth companies across multiple industries in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Prior to joining Maxim, Mr. Shaw was a senior officer in equity capital markets at Deutsche Bank from 2007-2012 where he was responsible for managing the bank’s special purpose acquisition company practice globally. While at DB, he led the origination and execution of SPAC IPOs raising $3.2b of gross proceeds and the execution of successful business combinations in transactions with an aggregate enterprise value of over $7b. Prior to DB, Mr. Shaw co-founded the boutique investment bank Legend Merchant Group, which he led as President and co-Chairman from 2002-2007. In his role at Legend, Mr. Shaw drove the growth of the firm from 5 to over 50 professionals and built its advisory and capital markets practices, which led or co-managed over 50 financing transactions ranging in size from $2m to $375m.

Mr. Alfaro has over 22 years of experience in investment banking. Mr. Alfaro has advised numerous healthcare, life science and med tech companies on a wide range of transactions including sole book run IPO’s, cross border mergers, follow-ons and rights offerings. Previous to joining Maxim, Mr. Alfaro was a Senior Vice President and Head of Healthcare Investment Banking at Wedbush Morgan Securities. Mr. Alfaro is a frequent speaker at healthcare industry events.
Mr. Alfaro began his career at Chase Securities in the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Syndicated Finance Groups and later joined J.P. Morgan’s Equity Capital Markets Group. He holds an MBA from the University of California-Berkeley’s Walter A. Haas School of Business and participated in Berkeley’s MBA exchange program with Columbia Business School and also holds a B.B.A. from the University of Texas, Austin. Mr. Alfaro resides in Greenwich, CT with his wife and two children.

Mr. Bello has over thirty years of investment banking experience focusing on the financial needs of domestic and Asian emerging growth and middle market companies. Mr. Bello has negotiated, structured and closed various types financing transactions including retail and institutional private placements, venture capital, mezzanine and senior debt financings, and initial and secondary public offerings including SPAC and REIT offerings. As a direct result of his transactional experience, Mr. Bello has an extensive network of relationships with private equity investors, venture funds, hedge funds, mezzanine funds, and senior and asset based lenders. Prior to his career in investment banking, Mr. Bello was a senior lender in the middle market and healthcare lending groups of Citibank and JP Morgan Chase. Mr. Bello holds a BBA Degree in Finance and Economics from Baruch College.

Mr. Avery has over 20 years of investment banking experience and has advised clients on over 50 middle market M&A transactions and financings in a broad range of sectors. He has spent the majority of his career focused on the technology sector but is active across a wide range of industries. Prior to joining Maxim, Mr. Avery led the Technology & Internet of Things (IoT) advisory effort at Triangle Capital LLC, a boutique M&A Advisory firm in New York. Mr. Avery has also been an equity research analyst at Deutsche Bank where he was a senior member of the US semiconductor research team, directly responsible for the ratings on the small cap coverage base. Prior to covering semiconductors, he was a member of the wireless services telecom research team. Mr. Avery began his career as an IT consultant with Andersen Consulting (currently called Accenture) in its Financial Services practice. Mr. Avery has an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth and a BS from Miami University (of Ohio) with a major in Finance.

Mr. Jin has over 10 years of investment banking experience focusing on emerging growth companies in Greater China. Mr. Jin has participated in over $2 billion worth of transactions, including IPO, SPAC, Follow-on, RD/CMPO, Private Placement and M&A. Mr. Jin currently spearheads Maxim’s China practice and has been instrumental in propelling firm’s practice to a industry leading position. Prior to joining Maxim Group, Mr. Jin was with Global Hunter Securities, where he focused on executing China-based transactions. Prior to Global Hunter Securities, Mr. Jin began his investment banking career at Sterne Agee & Leach. Mr. Jin holds an MBA and B.A. from the University of California, Riverside. Mr. Hoffman has over 18 years of capital markets & investment banking experience and has completed over 100 private & public equity transactions, representing over $4 billion in aggregate value. He is focused on the life sciences sector and has raised capital for a diverse set of biotechnology, specialty pharmaceutical, medical device and healthcare technology companies across a wide range of structures including IPOs, Secondaries/ Follow-on Offerings, SPACs, Registered Directs, PIPEs, Privates, Fairness Opinions and M&A mandates. Prior to joining Maxim, Mr. Hoffman was concurrently a Managing Director at Torreya Partners and the Head of Business Development at Claravant Analytics, a clinical & regulatory consulting firm. Mr. Hoffman’s diverse professional experience also includes over a decade of healthcare institutional sales at Lazard Capital Markets and at Oppenheimer & Co Inc., as well as, over 3 years of investor relations consulting at the Carson Group. He holds a BA from Wesleyan University, speaks French fluently, is a CFA Charterholder and currently holds FINRA series 7, 63 and 79 licenses.

Pavlos has over 25 years of experience with M&A and capital-raising (equity, debt and mezzanine) for both private and public companies across a broad range of industries both domestically and internationally. Prior to joining Maxim Group, Pavlos was a Managing Director and Head of Global Power and Energy at Pi Capital, Head of Global Power, Energy and Real Estate Investment Banking at INTL FCStone Securities, a Shareholder and Managing Director at Provident Group and Provident Group Asset Management, and a member of DB Capital Partners’ Latin American Private Equity and Salomon Smith Barney’s Global Power Group. Pavlos started his career as a project finance and securities lawyer at Brown & Wood LLP. Mr. Mavrides has a JD from Columbia Law School and a BA from Yale College. Mr. Mavrides is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and Greek.

Mr. Rabinowitz has over 15 years of capital markets and investment banking experience with a focus on both public and private transactions, in addition to expanding Maxim’s debt capital markets banking business. Prior to joining Maxim investment banking group, Mr. Rabinowitz was responsible to trading corporate credit as well as overseeing Maxim’s structured credit desk. Mr. Rabinowitz has been involved in sourcing and structuring over $8 billion in structured collateralized vehicles. Mr. Rabinowitz received a M.B.A. from The Tobin College of Business at St. Johns University, and a B.S. in Finance from The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. He currently holds FINRA series 7, 24, 63, 65, and 79 licenses.

Mario Leite is a Director in Maxim’s Healthcare Investment Banking group with extensive experience in both the finance and biopharmaceuticals industries. Prior to joining Maxim, Mr. Leite was a Vice President in the Healthcare Investment Banking group at B. Riley FBR. Prior to that, Mr. Leite spent several years in the healthcare banking groups at RBC Capital Markets and Needham & Company in New York City, working with management and boards of biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies to raise capital and execute strategic transactions. Prior to his investment banking career, Mr. Leite held various research and managerial roles at Curagen Corporation, a biotechnology company based in New Haven, CT. Mr. Leite also has experience as an entrepreneur, having founded and operated a company in the Food & Beverage sector. Mr. Leite holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Molecular & Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut.

Mr. Herzog has over 20 years of knowledgeable buy-side and securities industry experience. He has participated in over 100 PIPE, IPO, CMPO, and private transactions in varying industries across the globe. His previous work experience includes both hedge and venture funds, such as Zimmer Lucas Partners, Bluegrass Growth Fund, Iroquois Capital, and Odyssey Capital. Prior to his career in finance, Mr. Herzog spent eight years on active duty in the United States Navy in a patrol aviation squadron and on the admiral’s staff of the US/NATO Mediterranean air fleet. Mr. Herzog received an MBA from the Tepper School of business at Carnegie Mellon University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University and a FINRA series 79 license.

David maintains his status as a Google Partner and Facebook Certified Professional. He has spent the last 14 years managing Google and Facebook Ad accounts that delivered over 2.6 billion ad impressions across Google Search & Display, Facebook & Instagram. Mr. Shapiro has provided digital marketing consulting to B2C and B2B companies in a wide variety of industries including healthcare, financial services, hospitality, beverage, automotive & pharmaceutical. He received a BS in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University. He holds a FINRA Series 79 license

Mr. Mavrogian has over two years of investment banking and financial services experience. Prior to joining Maxim Group, he earned his BA in Political Science from the State University of New York at Cortland. Instead of taking a traditional route, he decided to give finance a try and started his first career at Maxim Group, in the Wealth Management division. In 2019, he was asked to head up the company’s first Business Development unit in the Investment Banking Team, where he currently assists senior bankers in sourcing and develop relationships which have led to dozens of advisory and transactional relationships.
