MAXIM GROUP LLC EXPANDS EQUITY RESEARCH DEPARTMENT WITH THE APPOINTMENT OF A SENIOR ALTERNATIVE ENERGY/SOLAR ANALYST

Maxim Group LLC, a leading full service investment banking, securities and wealth management firm today announced the appointment of Aaron Chew as a Senior Alternative Energy/Solar Analyst.

Mr. Chew’s appointment is part of an ongoing phased expansion of Maxim Group’s Equity Research Division. “Last year, Maxim’s Capital markets Division embarked on a growth strategy that includes a build out of the Equity Research Department in verticals where we have a demonstrable expertise. The addition of Aaron, a well-respected analyst with a large institutional following, to our already established Alternative Energy practice supports our growth initiatives” said Anthony V. Vendetti, Director of Research at Maxim Group LLC.

Prior to joining Maxim Group, Mr. Chew was the senior analyst covering the solar industry at Hapoalim Securities. Prior to Hapoalim, Mr. Chew served as an analyst at a clean-tech incubator working with solar integrators in the Tri-State area and as an equity research associate at JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley. He has also been published in both Renewable Energy World and Alt Energy Magazine. Mr. Chew earned his MBA in Finance and International Business from NYU and holds a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College.
