Maxim Group LLC to Hold Its Annual Growth Conference October 7, 2008 in New York
Over 80 Companies in Six Sectors Expected to Present to 1,000 Buy Side Investors
Maxim Group LLC, a leading full-service mid-tier investment banking, securities and wealth management firm will host its second annual growth conference on Tuesday, October 7th, 2008, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in NYC. This year's conference theme was chosen to reflect the global reach of Maxim Group as well as to highlight the firm's expertise in Shipping, Healthcare, Technology and China. Maxim Group institutional coverage spans 25 countries over four continents.

The Maxim Group Growth Conference is a senior level, interactive conference experience designed to meet the needs of the firm's existing and potential institutional clients. Presenting companies will be showcased through a combination of company presentations, Q&A sessions, and management one-on-one meetings designed to provide investors with an in-depth perspective on the issues affecting the growth of their companies. The Maxim Group Growth Conference will also feature three specialized 50-minute panel sessions moderated by senior Maxim Group executives. The panel discussions and their respective moderators are: Blank Check Companies (SPACs), Clifford A. Teller, executive managing director and head of investment banking; the Aesthetic Industry, Anthony Vendetti, director of research and senior health care analyst; and the Shipping & Transportation sectors, Charles Rupinski, senior equity analyst, shipping and transportation.
