New York, NY – August 16, 2018 – Maxim Group LLC, a leading full service investment banking, securities and wealth management firm today announced the promotion of James Siegel to General Counsel. Mr. Siegel joined Maxim Group in 2003 and has served as Co-General Counsel since 2008. He will assume the role of sole General Counsel.

His legal expertise enhances our team and increases our depth as we enter a new period of growth for Maxim Group.” Mr. Siegel graduated cum laude from Hamilton College in 1990, and obtained his law degree from Fordham University in 1993. He has been a licensed attorney for over twenty years, and has worked in the securities industry for more than fifteen years. Mr. Siegel currently serves as an adjunct professor at Fordham Law School.
“Jim has grown into the role of General Counsel, and his promotion will allow me to focus on additional areas of the firm to strengthen the organization as a whole.” Mr. Rose will lead the expansion of Maxim Group’s capabilities in several areas, including strategic planning and business development. Mr. Rose will focus more on positioning Maxim Group for growth in existing, as well as new, areas of business.
